Why I’m a Tarot Reader Specializing in Events
TL:DR Because I love it. I’m suited for it. And I’m good at it.
I’ve lost count at how many times a client sits down with me and says, “I’ve never had a reading before.”
I don’t know why but I attract those who are curious about Tarot but have never had a reading. Events offer a space to connect with first-timers and put them at ease. Sometimes, they turn into regular clients, sometimes we only ever share this one interaction that leaves them better understanding their own intuition and with more respect for Tarot itself. Either way, it’s impactful, and as a few clients have described, life changing.
Being able to show someone a new modality, a new way of connecting to themselves and the divine, is a gift and a pleasure.
I love love love working events
While I am a true ambivert, the extrovert side of me thrives in the hustle and bustle of a party. In the early 2000s, I attended dozens, if not hundreds of weddings as an assistant photographer, and I looked forward to every single one. Being a Tarot reader who specializes in events gives me the opportunity to work weddings, which, all these years later, I still love.
Beyond reading tarot at weddings, I read at spiritual gatherings. While this is the opposite of reading for first-timers, I am surrounded by fellow mystics, even other readers, and I have an amazing time here as well. Being able to read for people I admire, and to offer them insight or a message from the universe fills my soul and their positive feedback means so much to me.
I was made for this
Given my background in the wedding industry (which goes beyond photography), I understand the flow and cadence of such a special day, and I am well versed in how to conduct myself as a hired vendor.
I’ve also planned and worked as a content creator for events. Seriously, I think I’ve lived a thousand lifetimes in my 45 years, and looking back, so many of them prepared me to be a Tarot reader specializing in events.
And for that, I am so grateful. This is my why.
